La Balsamine is a theatre, but also can be thought of as a garden where performing arts are nurtured. It promotes sensitivity and fragility embedded in the core of its shows along with a bold, strong attitude.

The visual identity is exclusively built with our rawest material: typography. We use a growing pattern where the letters reflect the Balsamine theatre's ethos. For the season's catalogue, we also chose a raw print product: the rotative newspaper press.

To mark the third season of our collaboration with the artistic direction which has grown with Mathias Varenne (initiated with Isabelle Bats). A new colour appears in the gradient through complex nature inspired patterns. This year, the typographic invasion increases, weaving through communication like intertwined creepers, dancing between foreground and background in a subtle play of depth.

For the portraits of the resident artists, Mélanie Peduzzi has created images that combine photos and drawings of larger-than-life plants, resulting in a stunning fusion of art and nature.
