La Balsamine is a well established contemporary theatre in Brussels dedicated to supporting emerging artists through research, creative residencies and its production support. La Balsamine — Saison 2022-2023

2022
identity
La Balsamine is a theatre, but also can be thought of as a garden where performing arts are nurtured. It promotes sensitivity and fragility imbedded in the core of its shows along with a bold, strong attitude.
The visual identity is exclusively built with our rawest material: typography. We use a growing pattern where the letters reflect the Balsamine theatre's ethos. For the season's catalogue, we also chose a raw print product: the rotative newspaper press.
The design is joined by beautiful, intimate, also raw photographic portraits of resident artists by Loup Kass.
